They call her many things, cold, heartless, and the woman who carries the ugly word kabit like it means the truth. Merideth doesn't bother correcting them. She learned long ago that people prefer their stories loud and their facts convenient. So she walks with her head high, letting judgment fall like dust on her crown of sin. She does not beg for understanding. She does not chase redemption. Love, to her, is not salvation, it is another battlefield she refuses to lose. But beneath the silence, something darker and deeper waits... because even a woman crowned in sin is still capable of wanting something she swore she would never need.
