This book is an Urban Fantasy with a wry deceptive heroine who always knows more than she lets on. It deals with the burden of immortality, the addictive nature of deception and the finer points of kicking people in the face.

It features ancient secrets, the land of the buried dead, hungry clouds, bar fights, urban owls, underfunded spy agencies, weird artefacts, multiple identities, hidden worlds and a dash of wry humour.
