"Laurence," Olivia laughed, her face began to hurt from smiling. "Stop it!"
He held her face with both hands, doing his best to plant a kiss on every inch of her exposed skin. "No can do, Milady."
As always whenever she laughs too hard, she began to tear up a bit. "Please!" She giggled, not even noticing the droplet. Laurence did, however. Immediately, he pulled away and wiped it, his heart dropping upon contact. Her eye fluttered at the touch of his calloused thumb upon her eye, curiousity ever so playful on her face.
"What ever is the matter my dear?" Olivia questioned. He sighed, placing his palm against her cheek with a grateful smile.
"I can't stand the sight of tears from you, no, not again. I love you too selfishly to let myself see you with a tear down the side of your face ever again."

Long ago, when the Divine Warriors still lived, there lived yet another lover and friend amongst their ranks. She was known for her effortless grace, inviting allure, and warm presence.
She adored her friends, her family. Her love was as irreplaceable and undoable as a pleasent plague. It was infectious and incurable. Her kiss was as soft as a silent blessing from the God's, her touch was that of a delicate carnation upon one's cheek.
Although she was utterly enchanting, her mind was deathly crude and fragile. Ideals of self ruin and poison were obsessed over, and she was too easily convinced. Now that her affections had been taken for granted and misunderstood, she must cope with being discarded, in the name of preservation.
