Hope's a quiet girl. She does her work , gets good grades , joins clubs . But doesnt have friends , why? Well she tends to push them away. 6 years ago her bestfriend Charley committed suicide , Hope was in 5th grade at the time and he was in 7th grade . She knew he was depressed but didn't think that he would actually do it , she cut off all connections with her friends and became a outcast . Her mother sent her away to Newyork from Maine live with her father after getting reports by her teachers that hope may be suicidal . Now that she lives with her father in New York she has a lot of adjusting to do , as in getting used to walking to school and getting places well. That's what she thinks , once school starts for her things so spiral for her , classmates , teachers , parents . It was like another life , same person with new everything .
