From the minute her mother moved in with her step-father all Evie got was full on abuse. She didn't ask for it, and her mother did nothing, because she knew full well she couldn't stop the step-father, he's his own self, no one can tell him what to do, and she loves him. No one can break love. right?
This time is different to all the other times he abuses Evie, this time she's in for it and this time he wants her dead.
Ending up in hospital, her mums on the phone to her 'real dad' The dad she has accepted she will never meet. Whose never been around her, who she had no clue who he is and visa vera.
Moving from Manchester to London is a pretty big change. Well so is moving in with your so called dad, his son and daughter, and his sons four best friends.
The question is can Evie cope with the change, or maybe will she start fresh and fall in love with someone she believes will be impossible, after all her step-father has told her in multiple occasions she will never be loved...

We all have that one friend who you can tell everything to, they're your best friend and you cannot live without them. I had that...I had 4 of the best friends you could imagine. They could make me laugh non-stop at their ridiculous humour and they always knew what to do to cheer me up when I was down.
