In which Sakura tries to figure out if she's been sent to the past-or an alternate universe with suspicious tweaks. Dying was everything she had expected, an inevitable event, bound to happen sooner rather than later (a lot sooner, actually)-an unstoppable force, driven by the arm of a rabbit goddess piercing through her, and just barely not enough will to survive. And yet, it was nothing she could've ever prepared for. Not when she found herself four years old again, and a pink-haired stranger roamed her strangely empty house, claiming to be her brother. - "Sakura had one thought, waking up screaming her lungs out. Sasuke looked forward and gasped. A kunai was coming; full speed. "SASUKE!!" Sasuke closed his eyes. He waited for the impact. He opened his eyes to Sakura making eye contact with him. "Sakura...?" The kunai was in her back. She panted in pain. "Sakura...." He couldn't believe she flash stepped in the path of the kunai and him. She collapsed in his arms. He looked where the kunai hit. It hit her lung, that's all he could tell. "Sasuke we should take her to Tsunade!" Naruto called as he lifted her up. "Sakura stay awake with me.." There is a famous legend telling the story of a woman. No one knows her age or what she looks like, since she always has a fox mask on her face. They only knew what to do if one ever came across her. Turn and run the other direction. She had been reported to randomly appear while ninjas are on missions and killed anyone who angered, disrespected, or simply annoyed her. You'll know it's her when the world around you seems to go completely silent and only the sound of wind chimes can be heard. She wore a white, grey, and blue fox mask and is said to have short, blue hair. It's said that she is the most powerful ninja to ever live. She has been come to be known as the Queen of Masks, and she has picked a student. Sakura Haruno is about as normal as you can get (other than the pink hair). She's not from a famous clan, and she doesn't have a powerful demon sealed inside of her. She's not a super genius (but she's pretty smart), and she doesn't have a bloodline trait or Kekkei Genkai to distinguish her from the other ninja around her. Never had she been considered more than a pretty face. What she doesn't know is that despite being seemingly completely normal, she has caught the eye of a very powerful person, changing her life, and the lives of many others. And just like that, they were gone. Hinata sighed, "I miss them already." Sasuke enveloped her in a hug, "I'm going to miss those brats too." Hinata bit her lower lip. She pecked his cheek and took a hold of his hand. She silently led him inside the house and up to his room. "What are you doing?" "I miss them so much," Hinata said as she shut his bedroom door. "As do I but they had to go back to their own time," an oblivious Sasuke said, "We can't do anything but wait now. What are you doing?" Hinata let go of him and bravely took off her shirt, "W-w-we should get started on them as soon as possible then." Sasuke gulped as Hinata shyly stripped herself. Her hips swayed as she made her way to his bed. Sasuke couldn't help but lick his lips. He pulled off his shirt and threw it across the room. Sasuke rushed over to Hinata's side, admiring her voluptuous figure. He really was in love with his future wife. He began to place kisses across her jaw, "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." Life is an odd creature. Sometimes the expected turns out to be unexpected, and other times it's the other way around. When you add two time travelers from the future, a former avenger, and a princess of compassion, playing with timelines might turn perilous. He would never expect her to be his future, and she would never expect him to be hers. Maybe they're not meant to be together, but maybe they are. Perhaps they only need to be prodded. Perhaps two passengers are required. This is either a story of true love or a jumble of feelings. I don't own Naruto, otherwise what would I do with ninjas?Complete
