WW1 Hetalia AU-can be read as historical fiction
Arthur Kirkland has a knack for not dying. That should be sort of a expectation in life-if he wasn't fighting in the 'War to end all wars'. There his knack is more of a blessing-though it comes with a price.
He's the one to introduce to newbies,like Canadian solider Matthew Williams, to his world of death. He's the one left behind to pick up the bodies.
And to pick up a polar bear left in the dust.
Set in 1915,Belgium,Ypres

Short story I wrote months ago that has no purpose now but to entertain anyone who comes across this sad depiction of the trenches of WW1. I have utmost respect for the ones who fought in this war, German, English,Canadian,American,Belgium,my country New Zealand,Australia,Austria-Hungary,Italy, and all the other countries that lost brothers,husbands and sons in this war and I hope anyone with these honourable men as relatives find my story an acceptable fiction account.

Arranged Marriage. People grimace at those words. Especially the countries of the world. Forcing people to get married and love each other. They hated the idea. However the world is on the verge of WW3. The only way it can be prevented is an arranged marriage between a one country from each side. The allies don't know what to do, everyone in allies has a long history of bad blood between the opposing side. Nobody wanted to go though with it. Matthew, also known as Canada, agreed. Canada is a large nation that is passive aggressive and very unnoticed. He goes as the country to be married. Gilbert, also known as Prussia, also agreeded. Prussia is a country the was presumed to be dissolved but, there is a small area of land that counts as Prussia's territory. He is the other country to be married. They dont know much about each other and didn't know they would be getting married at all. However, Wouldn't it be strange if an arranged marrige to stop a war turned out to be a perfect couple? Destiny crossed them in the most unusual way. The characters belong to Hetalia The drawings at the beginning of each chapter are my own drawings of PruCan. also! Francis moved to America to open up a small café, he ends up sharing a 4 bedroom house with three other people. A loud American named Alfred A quite little Canadian name Matthew And a grumpy Brit named Arthur They all seemed so familiar to him, yet he's never seen any of them. and one of them is holding a big secret from the other three.but what? .................................................. This is my first fanfic by myself. I hope y'all like it even though the hetalia fandom has died down I'm still a huge fan and thought this was a good time to leave my shell and write this. (Y/n) was a small, weak, little country located right next to England. Her and England were best friends and England promised (Y/n) that nothing bad was ever going to happen to her so (Y/n) never had to be strong because England was always there to protect her. When Turkey invaded (Y/n) England made sure to get his army ready and took Turkey down without any trouble. (Y/n) did feel very guilty though when England would get invaded by France and Spain and (Y/n) could do nothing but watch from afar. She wanted to help her best friend like he had helped her but England wouldn't allow (Y/n) to get a single scratch on her plus she didn't really have anything to offer since most of her army was from England anyway, and her guns and artillery were old and outdated. Yet she still tried to help as much as she could. Her farmland was the best of the best and she had lots of jewels in the ground that she mined and gave to England. It was always hard, hard work but it was the least she could do. He and his fellow soldier Jacob must help each other survive the cruel trenches, but it is no longer certain that either of them will return to England alive. Told in journal entries and letters from Henry's sister Elizabeth, this reveals the realities and horrors of World War I, on the battlefield and in the homefront. {STORY DISCONTINUED and I'm probably never gonna finish it whoops} The world is ending, obviously. America never really paid attention to the news, only Good Morning America, of course, but when the flooding and crippling storms started in the south and worked their way to D.C., he got nervous. There were warnings, scientists predicted the amount of blah, blah, science, science, random crap, big words. . . World catastrophe. The Storm. Bunkers and shelters were built, supplies were stocked, factories and farmers worked around the clock before the Storm could hit them. One might think the United States was prepping for war, and in a way, they were. They had to fight for their lives. Alfred is alone in a bunker, panicking for his people and brothers and the rest of the countries like Japan and Germany. He hears a distant muffled sound above the howling winds, a frightened little boy sits in the corner with an old stuffed bunny sucking his thumb. No one notices him. How is America supposed to protect hundreds of people and himself against a storm that could kill people in a number of ways? And now a kid had moved him to become his caretaker. When Alfred became independent from England, France had muttered to him that he didn't know the pain of raising a child then losing it. But know, he assumes that he may just learn. Conclusions and resolutions play a dramatic role as it determines the relationship between the two; it could either deteriorate reliance or openly express participation.
