This is a story that I decided would be fun to write after I saw a tumbler post.
It's written in first person, set in post apocalyptic times and is about a girl, Alexis, who is now stuck with her braces after the apocalypse broke out and her endeavours to find an orthodontist to remove them

It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated.
