Okay, lets say that I woke up one day not being able to remember anything or anyone. Now, lets say that what I just told you happened. And I am alone, unsure of my friends, where all the people I meet might be my enemies. What should I do when I know that I am different, not just because I have lost my memory? And this feeling of being watched as though I am in a microscope? What about the feeling of my every move being calculated, everything cataloged. Is my instinct correct, or am I just being paranoid? May finds herself in a world of secrets, powers, and people missing. Her own is that of being able to make objects and thoughts appear. It is amazing, except for the part where all the people missing had powers like hers- those that aren't normal, or what could pass by as normal. When May is captured herself, she has to remember her past, the one she has forgotten when she remembered, and the one she forgot after the one she has forgotten. Filled with witty sentences, confusion, and one girl, this book is my first. I hope you like it.

What did they mean? I knew who I was, didn't I? I was Rosalia Mallory, a girl left on the doorstep of our town's foster agency to find a new home. From there I went through three homes before at the age of 16 instead of having to live in the group home I secured enough money to, along with the money the foster carers were given for me, to buy an apartment building. Alongside a job bartending and waitressing I had enough money to attend college and am currently studying Religion and Mythology, Creative writing and Art. Just a normal teenage girl with a normal life. But at the same time, I'm not. Who am I? Seems like the most cliché question a teenager can ask right? Except when your missing months, if not years, of your life suddenly that seemingly simple question takes on a whole new meaning. After all, if you don't know your whole past how can you answer that for yourself?
