Casey Michaels didn't think much of the world, after all; all her life had just been bad news, and bad things happening. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2008 at the age of 10, and ever since she'd got the news, she had been fighting a battle that never seemed to stop. The doctors said she was at stage 2, her cancer was progressing below the normal rate which was good for a girl of her age - she was being giving chemotherapy and radiotherapy to help combat it, and she was by all accounts a case of luck. On new years eve of 2015 she was given the news that she had moved to stage 3, and unforeseen set back that nobody knew would be possible, but nonetheless they still had hope, and Casey most of all hoped she'd be able to at least make it to Christmas of 2017 whether she was to live or die. All her friends gave her the support she needed, and up until April she'd had floods of friends coming in a week, but after that, even her family didn't visit that often. She was just left to fight it alone. Love, depression and a crucial turning point are all part of her story. Read to find out what happens - In the story of Casey Michaels.

Sometimes life don't go the way we planned. Sometimes we end up feeling so low, and alone. Like we're in a dark hole with no one around us, but then suddenly there's a light at the end of the tunnel. And I guess what I'm trying to say is.. You're my light, the one who helped me through the worst time in my life - And for that, I am thankful. I'm thankful that I met you, but I also hate you. I hate what you did to me, because you made me fall in love.. And then my world fell apart once again. [WARNING!! Contains mature themes, and language
