In this small town, they are cut off from the rest around them do to a beast in the woods. Any who have entered have never come back to their homes and loved ones but when a father never comes back after years has passed his daughter decides to go looking for him herself. Along the way, she will meet new friends and find something special that was thought to only be real in stories before knowing what she was really meant to be.

She's seen the things that hid behind the shadows, ran deep in the woods and pulled men in spellbound. She's learned to keep her distance and pretend the world wasn't more than what is seemed. Keep to the rules, and she'll be safe. But Avery has her own secrets to keep. Just as wicked and dark as the monsters around her, her secret slowly starts to unravel her world. With hell on her tail no one is safe, especially Avery Dunning. Monsters and madness knocking on her door, which one will be the death of her.

Moving back to her hometown, Victoria goes back to her pack, her brothers, her best friends. The only people who understand her and what she's been through. That's when she meets Gage and her worst fear is brought to life.

She took Amber in and raised her as her own. The woman soon found out that Amber was no ordinary child, but she was a werewolf! But not only was she a werewolf, she called herself the fire wolf. Her mother was not new to that world, although she was not a wolf herself she had many friends that are. She knew there was a pack not too far away from her. She would send her daughter there for training. But what will happen when Amber finds more than she bargained for?
