On January 29, 2023 at 0733 hours GMT, seven high altitude nuclear explosions, occurring simultaneously, launched by countries of unknown origin, destroyed most of the electrical power infrastructure of all of the industrialized nations. At 0530 coordinated attacks were launched on the continental United States and most of its NATO allies by combined Russian and Chinese forces. The targets were mostly military and critical infrastructure facilities that were destroyed by strategic air strikes. NATO countries launched retaliatory attacks almost immediately. The first strikes were against strategic military targets in those countries, followed by an immediate full scale invasion of Iran. This global event was coordinated by the world superpowers as a means of destroying the most powerful independent nations and bringing them under the control of a new global government, known as the World Union. The Union, as it came to be known, became the world's single government body. Its initial responsibility was to bring the survivors of the war under its care and provide for the rebuilding of world populations. This was accomplished by concentrating all people in the largest standing population centers. Rural areas were cleared of most inhabitants and taken under control of the Union to provide for their needs.Some military and intelligence community special operators became suspicious of the official story. These doubts would cause them to be abandoned by the country they serve and targeted by the enemy they never saw coming.

But by 2028 instead of old guys in their late 50s or 40s becoming Presidents, Prime Minister and all that, it was mostly 35-38 year olds that all had one thing in common "no more wars or conflicts with other nations it is time to act like sane adults and focus on the future not the past." And so, the new US President, Russian President and Chinese President announced that they will become allies and partners. And after two years North & South Korea United to Korea with South Korean flag as its main flag, The Middle East terrorist free and many other accomplishments. What could possibly go wrong if another world or planet attack them? Oh wait...
