Captain Toby Chase's life is changed when he meets Josiah Fenn and Pheobe Williams - two kids with an idea that could change the world. They have found a way to make humans immortal, and they need Toby's help to get the plans to a scientist who can make it happen. But all goes wrong when Toby's rival steals the plans and tries to create it himself. A deadly disease is released upon the world, one with he potential to wipe out every person on Earth. Only these four individuals have the capabilities to stop it.
A new horizon is appearing on the edge of humanity's future, and there is no telling whether it is going to be a bright future, or a dark one. The Infected are coming.
