Friends, new allies, and enemies are set up on the game board, each with a strategy for an unknown end-goal. Michael's past has begun to come to light and with it comes the horrifying truth about what really hides in the shadows. Karo and Kai, the ancient dragons that embody of chaos and order tattooed on her arms, fight to bring balance to the world and drag Rene with them into the battle.
Fairy tales say dragons are meant to be slain and damsels to be saved. Good thing Rene always hated fairy tales.
