It's too hard to know your sexual orientation when you've never fallen for a girl before. Same with Xhey, but does she end up with Yosef or Kiana? Who knows....
During her struggle of getting to know her sexual orientation, lies, depression, drug addiction will be attached to characters, but mostly Xhey.
As you approach to the climax of the book, characters refuse to behave, each of them seeking to be the protagonist instead of accepting their role as side characters.
