She reached to caress his cheek. She can feel stubble in his face, telltale signs that something's bothering him for him not to notice the slowly growing beard he has on his face. He's stressed. And she's worried. It's either something about his job or-."Why are you frowning?" Markus asked her with a frown slowly forming in his own face. "Nothing." she smiles, "You know me." She gracefully rises up from her resting position and opted to sit on her lover's lap facing him and snucked her head on his neck. In return, Markus' hugged her and placed his head on her shoulder. She inhaled his scent and sighed, savoring the remaining time they have left. "Je t'aime", she muttered beside his hear and kissed his neck. Markus' hugged her tighter and sighed,"So much my love. So much." She wished they never parted when the sun rested and the moon shone upon them. She shouldn't have fallen asleep, then maybe she was given the chance to beg. Beg at her father to spare her lover from a mission she knew would last for months or maybe even years. Beg at Markus to stay. To escape the life she never wanted.

His Love.

Everyone feared Uzair Malik. Whispers of his name could still an entire room. His presence was a storm veiled in silk - quiet, controlled, and laced with danger. In the city of Meerabad, he ruled the shadows like a king without a crown, answerable to no one. Ruthless, revered, and wrapped in mystery, Uzair Malik wasn't just a name - he was a warning. And then came Ayesha. Soft-spoken. Observant. The kind of girl who disappeared into corners and found comfort in silence. While his world roared with violence and loyalty paid in blood, hers was stitched together by quiet mornings, books with bent pages, and unspoken dreams. She belonged nowhere near him. But fate - as cruel as it is clever - didn't care. Their worlds collided in the most unlikely place: a library cafΓ© on the edge of Meerabad. A glance. A moment. And something irreversible took root. He didn't know her name. But her silence echoed in him louder than gunfire. She was the only calm he'd ever known. And he, the storm she'd been taught to fear. Uzair wanted her the way fire wants air - desperately, completely, without pause. And once he set his eyes on her, there was no turning back. She stirred the parts of him he thought were long dead. He awakened the fears she didn't know she carried. What began as a flicker quickly became a fire - a fire that would burn everything in its path. Because in Meerabad, love is dangerous. And in Uzair's world, love is war. A love story. Story of obsession, power, and surrender - where a quiet girl meets a man the world bows to... and everything changes.
