James Gutiérrez has it made. He gets really good grades with a gpa of a 4.0, has the best of friends, comes from a wealthy family, & has an amazing passion for dance. Sounds like the life right? Well the truth is is that its not all its cracked up to be. As a matter of fact, its quite difficult for james to wrap his head around things when trying out for almost every dance academy in the country becomes extremely difficult with a whole lot of other compeition to look out for. But thats not about to stop james from doing what he loves most. To dance! James has one goal & one goal only, to win californias world wide state dance competiton. But what will happen when his partner alexandria becomes really injured forcing her to drop out of the competiton? Leaving james left on his own he now has to face one of the biggest challenges he's ever had to. Theres only problem that stands in his way....He cannot do his routine alone & having almost every single dancer unavailable, james meets valerie. Valerie is your average 18 year old girl. Typical, Straight foward, Strong headed, Dedicated, Determined, Passionate, & always ready to face any challenge put in her way. So when she crosses paths with james at pines California dance academy shes instantly attracted to him. Will james give it a chance & try to get through the routine with valerie?
