Absolute Dance international champions The Next Step hope to keep their title by getting to internationals a second time. But first they must compete at Nationals - as the new dance season kicks in the next step is faced with many problems all around and the team must unite together to find a solution. It is also clear that the A troupe that won Regionals won't make the cut and Riley holds auditions for a new team. New enemies and friendships will become made aswell as the reunion with some others. Can the next step win nationals and move on to internationals a second time? This is set after season 4 I'm based in the London so I havnt seen seasons 4 yet so if this makes no sense or doesn't fit in with wjay has happened in season 4 THAT'S WHY

POLAR OPPOSITES Riley Raymond - a fierce ballet and contemporary dancer. Shy, stubborn and 'uptight' - so it seems. Riley is closed off to a lot of people, for reasons unknown, but is slowly starting to open up to someone unexpected. Will a dark part of her past stop Riley from achieving her Nationals dream? James - a hip-hop dancer without a care in the world - at least that's what Riley believes. Not giving anything a second thought, James dates girls and dumps them constantly, leaving a trail of heartbroken heartbroken girls in his wake. Can they see the other side of each other or will this all end in tears?

Riley Raymond is a part of A Troupe, which, after winning Nationals, are now invited to the most prestigious competitions in the country, heading to Internationals and have the strongest team The Next Step has ever seen. Riley's relationship with her boyfriend James couldn't be better and, although they're not without their arguments, she knows her sister Emily cares about her. But the past can't be changed. Riley isn't the girl she was 4 years ago - events and people have certainly made sure of that. But she wouldn't show her weaknesses now, she knows letting people in can only get you hurt. And she's not the only one with problems. At the same time, Emily is struggling to cope on her own at home, when everyone is out, getting on with their lives. Restricted to the confinement of their house, she's slowly going slightly crazy. But she doesn't exactly have anyone to talk to - Hunter left the studio ages ago, and Stephanie and Giselle haven't been around in months. Being the people they are, both Riley and Emily try and keep their struggles to themselves - it's just easier that way. But surely everything can't stay hidden forever... Surely there's only so much someone can take before things start getting serious... Fanfiction based on the Canadian show The Next Step. Therefore I don't own these characters! (Set around the start of season 3) Due to the mention of abuse, suicide and self-harm (amongst other issues), this book is rated Mature.

The Next Step: Season 7 Rewrite by zozoey_05

As the next step has just won regionals, they advance to nationals. But, a huge opportunity comes up with Dancemania, that they just can't pass up. What is A-Troupe going to do? My rendition of what happened in TNS season 7, as I wasn't completely satisfied with the story. No hate or offence to the writers, this is simply how I thought it should've gone.
