In Haltonshaw Grove, we tell these real life horror stories to our kids like bedtime tales. They help us learn from a young age to stay out of the forest after dark. Seven years later, the events of that night, like most things tend to do around here, have come back to haunt us. We never talked about the night we ran in the forest, never spoke afterwards at all really, but now we're going to need each other if we're going to survive what's coming. This story is about a group of teenage boys who, as every horror story begins, took the challenge to spend a night in a haunted mansion. What they discovered there is, well... not some ghost, but something much more dangerous.

The spirit of Halloween who gives you a thrill, a frisson of excitement, who is Also known as the pumpkin queen, Samhain? Or sometimes even Bloody Mary. History had repeated itself, causing the man in the moon to appoint a new guardian, the spirit of Halloween herself. However Y/N has no interest in gaining more believers, seeing as everyone who does believe in her has the wrong idea of her. Being feared is not fun and she'd rather not be seen. However, maybe someone who had once been in her position (in a way) can give her a different perspective and hopefully encourage Y/N to keep fighting for what her title should mean. Also Jack is flirting with Y/N the whole time. -the nightmare before Christmas is ever so slightly referenced in this as you can already tell. I do not own it nor do I own ROTG.
