It started with a jackass who just happened to be there when the nerd passed out. And that nerd was me, Lidia Johnson. Honestly if you told me 9 months ago that a guy would fall in love with me and he told me he was a vampire I would have laughed in your face and blushed. But the truth is believe it or not this did happen to me, slowly but surely and his demons were out for blood. He had to save me and she was determined to kill me, whether any one liked it or not my life was going to change drastically from the first day I met him till my last breath.

Well, there's always a nerd that's weak and bullied. That's either the damsel in distress or she suddenly turns badass. But sorry to say, my story is completely different. People fear me, no one dares to bully me, even the cheerleaders and our school's star quarterback bow down to me. Oh you think I'm the 'bad girl'? Sorry, but I'm the nerd who rules the school. "Oh," he said, as my back hit the wooden wall. Damn it, of course. With nowhere to go, his arms locked me in between him and the wall. He stared down at me as he said, "So you're trying to piss me off?" His lips were surprisingly close to mine. No guy would ever be this close to me in real life, let alone me being able to handle it; I would've been so timid and afraid. But this was the dream world. I could speak and be as brave as I wanted to. "Yeah, I am," I said. "What are you gonna do about it?" He paused as his eyes looked between the two of mine. Then, he smirked and swiftly closed the gap between our lips. ~~ In a small town in New York, Hazel is your average quiet type. In a school full of clichés, she falls perfectly under the category of "nerd" and has her own little nerdy group of people she loves to hang around. They respect the fact that she's non-verbal. The thing that plagued her, surprisingly, is not her inability and refusal to speak, but her ability to go through anybody and everybody's dreams. This is not something she can control, nor something that's necessarily dangerous. It just happens. One second she's in darkness, the next second she happens to be in someone's dream. In my most breathy, husky voice, I answer, "are you sure, Justin? I know you have thought about the things I would let you do to me if I would just get naked in front of you." As I start to pull off the sweater that is covering the small tank top that's under it. His face flushes a deeper color of red and I can't help but, giggle a little. "Don't worry Justin, I won't get naked unless you ask."
