My Little Pony: A New Generation of Friendship
A few years after the events of 'The Ending of the End', Twilight Sparkle, now crowned the new ruler of Equestria, faces a rather simple, but boring, lifestyle as a queen. Even when she was the princess of friendship, she has sort of missed all the good times she had with her old friends. Yet, despite this, some questions still linger on: Who is she? What will Equestria be like as a result of her actions? What will become of everyone else? It's there Twilight and Spike traverse to the future and finds that her teachings on friendship and harmony have been replaced with paranoia and mistrust, as the three pony kinds - Earth ponies, pegasi and unicorns - live separated from one another. It will now be up to Twilight, along with the help of some new friends, to try and solve this problem and bring ponies back together again. Note: The following is a fanfic loosely based off of MLP G5 (specifically MLP: A New Generation), but with Twilight Sparkle (because there was a severe lack of her appearance (not counting the hologram scene)). Description about story: Twilight Sparkle finds an ancient star chart which shows the location of another world, Earth, as well as a powerful teleportation spell capable of interstellar travel. Princess Celestia allows Twilight to go to the other world for exploration. However, due to the Changeling invasion during the royal wedding, the negative energies it produced also frees Discord from his stone prison, who also decides that Earth should be his new playground. Meanwhile the Autobots continue to defend Earth from Megatron, and his Decepticons; ignorant that a new player is about to release chaos upon the world. And Megatron is not about to let another would-be conqueror steal his prize. Equestria also has it's problems when Queen Chrysalis returns to Canterlot, bent on usurping Celestia and Luna. Changing Our Destinies
It should have been the happiest day of her life. Despite all odds, Twilight passed the entrance exam to Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Not only that, but she also got asked to be the Princess's personal protege. And if that wasn't already amazing enough, she even got her cutie mark! So why wasn't the filly prancing around in circles shouting "Yes, Yes, Yes" over and over again? Being the victim of an uncontrolled surge did not only grant her enough magic to give life to a dragon but apparently also made it possible for her to get glimpses of her future, showing her a destiny she really does not care for. So, knowing where her current path would lead her, there is really no sensible alternative than throwing everything away and changing her destiny to one she can agree to, setting her up for a life of intrigue and adventure, uncovering the many mysteries surrounding her and a certain pegasus, to find out who they really are. Unfortunately, in doing so, she ruins the carefully laid out plans a certain Princess of the Sun had drawn up. In this story, Princess Luna is faced with her inner demons, but she only has the will to suppress them for so long. Princess Celestia suspects something is happening with her dear sister, yet she can't figure it out. Whenever she asks Luna, Luna can't speak due to a curse. However as Celestia questions Luna, Luna's inner demons grow stronger. She ends up entering her inner self and attempts to fight it, but when she loses, all hell breaks loose and this time the elements can't stop this enemy, because as Luna loses. The elements of harmony are destroyed due to an ancient and forgotten power that Luna's inner demon knows about. It is left up to a single alicorn to fight off this terrifying antagonist.
