However as Celestia questions Luna, Luna's inner demons grow stronger. She ends up entering her inner self and attempts to fight it, but when she loses, all hell breaks loose and this time the elements can't stop this enemy, because as Luna loses. The elements of harmony are destroyed due to an ancient and forgotten power that Luna's inner demon knows about. It is left up to a single alicorn to fight off this terrifying antagonist. Each was sweating, the magical auras around their horns beaming brightly. In the center of the magic circle, the auras wove into a rainbow beam. Through the open skylight in the room, the beam shot out, facing the moon directly. Luna was standing on the side, looking up at the moon in hope. A rainbow sphere at the tip of the beam was coming closer and closer. It was slowly lowered into the throne room until the entire floor was just a ball of light. At once, the auras disappeared and the four alicorns stepped back. The light gradually died down to reveal a purple figure with large dark horns, curled up on the floor, clutching a silver hourglass.
