Fallen

The First rebelled against his father's rule and is now an exile from paradise. He finds himself on a primitive world with no trace of sentience. Bereft and battling growing insanity, he explores his new environment, searching for some trace of mind that he can mould, perhaps to execute his revenge. What he finds surprises even him.

'Fallen' is a low fantasy short story retelling the oldest creation myths in human culture. From the Garden of Eden to the story of Prometheus and Pandora, the tale is the same: the celestial being who opens mankind's eyes to the truth of their mortal world and in doing so damns them for eternity. Mythology and anthropology meet in an intimate story with epic consequences.
