Edward and his family left Bella. Devastated, she eventually realized that Edward wasn't good for her. While in the woods where Edward had abandoned her, she was attacked by a creature. Fortunately, three vampires came to her rescue, and it turned out that they were her mates.

The scent of leather and sweat clung to her, a stark contrast to the sweet, floral perfumes she used to wear. Bella had traded her soft sweaters and floral dresses for ripped jeans, combat boots, and a leather jacket that whispered of rebellion. The girl who had once been afraid of her own shadow now walked with a confidence that radiated from every pore. She had become a warrior, a survivor, a badass, and a quadbrid. And she was ready to face the world little did she know that when the Cullens got back she would be drawn to a beautiful blonde and a certain pixie.
