(This is my Third Sans x Older!Frisk book, so it'll probably be better than the others. Undertale by Toby Fox. Also in this the monsters don't go above ground, they still live underground.)
After Frisk saved the underground, she didn't act the same. She wasn't the same happy and cheerful Frisk. She acted depressed, lonely even. She didn't seem to enjoy the monsters' company anymore. Sans has fallen for her, but he knows that he has to do the only thing to make her happy.

I was tired of fighting the pain, so I gave up. And then, a sudden yellow light burst trough the basement. Sans..? <> Frisk falls into the underground after running away from the orphanage she's been trapped in for a lot of years. In those years, a lot happened too. Like, when she was eleven, she went missing. Yet, she can't remember what happened. In the undergrounds, she meets the Mysterious Sans, who somethimes is called 'G.' Frisk finds out about what happened in the undergrounds, and what happened to Sans. Frisk has freed the monsters of the Underground. Finally, monster kind is allowed to return to the surface. It's been 3 years since then. Yet the monsters still struggle to find their place within the world. Most accept the monsters, but there are those who wish nothing more than the complete annihilation of monster kind. Merely sealing them away is not enough. As ambassador for the monsters, it is Frisk's responsibility to fight for everyone's right to live on the surface. But at the same time, an internal battle rages on within her. Not only that, her relationship with Sans is strained. Trust is not so easily regained after the slaughter of one's beloved, despite it all being erased. Or was it really? Frisk has freed all the monsters from the underground; this story takes place a few years later. By this time Frisk is living with Sans and Papyrus. Sans doesn't really do much on the surface other than sleep, keep an eye socket on Frisk and occasionally visit Alphys...so it seems.
