Season of the Ravens

It is the season of the Ravens once more, and after two hundred years of waiting for their turn, the Ravens of the Grand Peaks shall descend upon the human kingdoms to look for their intended. To be spirited away by one of these majestic beings is a great honor to any human who happens to be chosen. It meant wealth and prosperity and honor to the family of the chosen.

But, nobody knows what the Ravens look like; no one has actually seen them. Only a trail of black feathers mark their visit on the homes of their intended. No one knows how they choose their mate, no records of the selection process has ever been found. But Myrr knows how, for she has seen it before in her past life in a hazy, recurring dream. She has been chosen before in her past life, and she will be chosen again after being reborn six hundred years later. She awaits her Raven to spirit her away once more.
