Margo Langdon has always been abnormal.
She's never been able to fit in anywhere, whether it be in her home, her school, or the scrappy little business her parents have tried (and failed) to build.
Margo was an abnormal, living a completely normal life.
That is, up until her great uncle dies.
His sudden death traumatizes Margo's estranged cousin, who claims that his last wishes were for not only him, but for Margo too, to go on the journey of a lifetime to a tiny island in Wales, where their grandparents grew up.
When Margo and Jake finally arrive to Cairnholm, the pair discover a fairytale world from their childhood memories where children can float, raise the dead, and lift things ten times their weight.
Margo is just about to discover how abnormal she really is.
