They said I was crazy for believing in a world like that. A world where everyone was gone. But we're all broken. If not... then we wouldn't be searching for something to cover that hole in our hearts. Some of us cover it up with drugs, razor blades, music. For me it was my imagination. I believe they thought I was insane. I was sent to the crazy hospital. But that didn't help. It made me feel like a alien. They made me feel like I wasn't worth saving. They saved everyone else. But I guess I wasn't worth it. I felt alone and worthless. I felt like a threat. I felt vulnerable and scared. But they didn't care. They will never understand. That's why I believed. I believed in a world where it was okay to be different. Once I finally arrived. I realized my mistake. "It'll drive you crazy." they said. "But oh, don't worry... only the best people are." They said, their dull eyes staring at me while they had a grin on their faces.

You knew I never meant to hurt you I know You know that And yet You haven't come back It's been nearly a week I can't I can't handle this My intentions at the start were to help you And then part ways with you To focus on my career But I got attached And now I never want you to leave "I knew this would happen." I muttered angrily, grunting in pain as I kept punching. "I knew as soon as you got better." My eyes teared up a bit, but I convinced myself it was anger. "You wouldn't need me anymore." I said through grinding teeth. "And now you don't need me anymore." I hit it again, and a sharp, burning pain shot up my arm. I stumbled back and yelled in pain. I sat on the ground and stared at the floor, crying and grinding my teeth. You always hated when I'd push myself too much And even after everything No matter how hard I try I'm still a failure I always fail in the end I always fall short It's never enough Nothing I ever do Is enough to come out on top It used to be easy I was just naturally good Comfortable at the top And now I'm struggling just to stay in the running I stood up and walked to the locker room, slamming the door open and closed. I stood in front of the mirror with my hands on both sides of the sink, staring at my reflection. I was a mess. My eyes were red from my tears and my expression was exhausted and distressed. My face was tear-stained and I was light headed. Just completely out of it. I had bags under my eyes from stress filled days and sleepless nights, an obvious lack of rest. A collection of poetry that has been written from me (and my constant battle with wrecking insanity). Some will make sense; some will leave you with a big ole' question mark; but, like myself, not everything can be precise and make definite sense. I will try my best to have new additions every week from my on-going-twisted-love-affair of writing poetry. I never have been. I don't know why, or how I got here? But all I do know is that I don't deserve to be here but we all know why im really here its because they think i'm... different... Tana: I've always liked the colour red. Red, is for rage, and anger, but it also means love and roses. How I love roses. My name is....well i was never given one, my parents didn't care enough i suppose but everyone calls me Tana. I've been stuck in a hospital without knowing why? My sister couldn't take care of me so I was placed in this hospital? I've always wondered why? Sometimes I wonder why I have to be so...different... CA$H: My name is CA$H.
