Percy Jackson and the Olympians
My own Au (Also a small mix of highschool Au) Imagine losing your ability to see bright colors. You see in dark, blacks, grays, whites. That's it. One day, a flip is switched off on Nico's brain. Like all the emotions in the world were sorrow and misery and the colors to represent happiness and love were gone. The world was colorless. Till he sees him. His hair is bright blonde, eyes a million beautiful shades of blue, lips a light pink, and his skin a tan sun- kissed color. But as soon as Nico sees him... He is gone. The only thing in his life that has color is gone. Reyna and Jason try and help Nico cope, but they start to worry and question his sanity. They blame it on his depression which was caused by his sister Bianca committing Suicide. Nico refuses to talk about her. He had sacrificed so much for her. He threw himself in the line of fire of his drunk and abusive father Hades while his mother did nothing to stop him. But it wasn't enough. Nothing he did ever seemed to be enough. Not to mention Will's brother whom he still hasn't come out to, despite him knowing very clearly he likes men. *I do not own all of these charcters * may be triggers, I will warn at the beginning chapter if so

Nico di Angelo has learned to survive by disappearing. He wears his shadows like armor and keeps everyone, even Will, at a safe distance. No one knows about the late-night panic attacks, the silent scars he leaves hidden beneath long sleeves, the feeling that he's always one step away from being left behind again. Not even Will - the boy he trusts most. Will Solace is sunshine to the world, a healer, a leader, the rock everyone leans on. But no one sees the cracks. Not the guilt of the siblings he couldn't save. Not the pressure to be "fine" all the time. And definitely not the way he pushes himself past breaking just to feel worthy of the love he gives so freely. They're in love, yes - but they're also in pain. And the longer they keep their walls up, the more those walls start to crush them both. ⚠️ This story contains themes of depression, anxiety, isolation, self-loathing, emotional trauma, burnout, survivor's guilt, intrusive thoughts, self-harm, religious trauma, grief, and mentions of death.
