Erika Bolton has been haunted by a reoccurring nightmare for as long as she can remember. Forced to live with her father, his alcoholic wife and abusive step son, due to their mother turning mentally ill, Erika and her brother Damian find themselves bound into an increasingly miserable home and lifestyle. One fateful evening after work, after being followed and attacked, Erika meets a man named Francis Gerhard, who is obscure in every way. Francis Gerhard tries to explain to Erika how her occurring nightmare was nothing but a mere memory and introduces Erika and her brother Damian to the life they were genetically supposed to live, in the Kingdom of Navitas. He shows both Erika and Damian to a world they could never have imagined, where people are genetically able to control and use magical energy as a way of living and battle.
