This is a retelling of Aladdin. I have changed the names of some of the characters, but I give all rights over to Disney for coming up with the characters, their names, etc.

This story is set in Present day Denver, Colorado. Jasmine is the only daughter of Victor Khalid, a wealthy businessman. Al is a poor boy who lives on the streets of Denver. In unlikely circumstances they meet, and they discover what they are supposed to do in order to save the future and the rest of the world from the evil and powerful sorcerer, Iago.

My friend @Zima_the_eliotrope -- I think that that is how she spells it-- is going to help me make multiple retellings to some of the Disney movies that we enjoy. She is currently working on a retelling of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. When she gets it published, be sure to check it out!

WARNING: Smoking, violence, and killing are included in this story. Not intended for a young audience. It's 2075, and currently 11 billion people walk the surface of this planet. Out of that number, my hometown Chantless takes up 64,730. Out of that, one of them is me. A few years ago, the government finally realized they needed to do something about our population. So they decided to make a game out of it. They call it "Do You Have Talent?" They say it's a game show that puts people's abilities and talents to the test. To see if they are worth keeping alive. So far, I've lost my father, my friend, and my brother to this little "game". And I may be next. But I won't let that happen. For I have a trick up my sleeve in my own game. ----------- Jasmine is a 16-almost-17 year old girl living in Chantless, a poor town located close to the ocean. She seems like an ordinary girl, struggling to survive with little food, contaminated water, and a stub of a hand every day, but she has a secret no one else knows. Unexpectedly, she is chosen to participate in "Do You Have Talent?"; a wicked and ruthless game show created by the government to handle overpopulation. She meets Liz and Bryan, two other contestants who have also lost family members from this heartless monstrosity. Jasmine befriends them, and finally she has something to lose in her life. But when time starts to run out, she will be forced to make a decision; save her friends, or continue to keep her power a secret?

"My name is Rashiq Salim bin Fiqri Zafar, Crown Prince of Arandia and I need your help." "I'm sorry, did you say prince?" "Yes, and you, Ms. Walker are going to be my bride." She spluttered her coffee over him again. "What?!" Simply a business proposal... The last thing Annabelle Walker expected was a handsome, rich billionaire sheikh prince walking into her life and proposing marriage to her for a span of a year. Or even the fact that she would agree to his proposal. The next thing she knows, her life is never the same. Juggling between college and keeping their marriage a secret, there are more burdens and secrecy than before. Pressure builds during the day but is relinquished in passion-filled nights in her husband's bed... Or could it be more? Rashiq Zafar, Crown Prince of Arandia needs a wife and he needs it quick. When he sees Annabelle Walker, she fit his requirements perfectly. She needs money and he had money. All he needs her is for a year and they would walk away unaffected. But the last thing he expected was new emotions to follow his decision to get married... _____________________________________________________________ Okay, I've been getting a lot of offensive comments on his religion and race and bla bla bla. I just want to let you know that where I come from, I do know the basic customs and I think some of you are being too offensive for a fictional story. This story has absolutely no relations to religion. At all. All I did was select a certain nationality for my main lead. Plus, its a fictional country! I have done my research and I do not appreciate people saying my characters are going to hell and stuff. So, I've changed the name a bit and removed the "bin". Once again, I'll say this, this story has some sexual content so if you are sensitive to it either due to morality or religious reasons, please do not read any further. Thank you. PS: The rest of you, do enjoy!

Am I Married?

17 parts Complete

Samara comes closer to me, now studying my face. Her eyes are wandering all over my facial features. I contort my face in confusion at her weird stares, "Umm, hey-" "Listen, can you wear my wedding dress and be a bride at my place?" She questions. Ec-excuse me? I give her a long stare. I think she is joking and would burst into laughter any minute...but she doesn't. Her face has no trace of humour. "What?" I quirk up my brow. "You've to be a bride at my place." She repeats with no hesitation. Cold shiver trickles through me. .... An Accidental Bride. A Mistaken Groom. A Marriage Neither Saw Coming. 18-year-old Sanaya Frances was finding a way to pay for college. Becoming a cook in the grand Hobsons estate seemed like the perfect opportunity-until a twist of fate lands her in a wedding dress, hidden behind a veil, taking vows meant for someone else. Ashar Hobsons, 25, a powerful businessman, thinks he's marrying his childhood fiancée. But his world turns upside down-he's been tricked into marrying a stranger. Two strangers.
