Ashes and Flames

She was young when he started appearing. She was never scared of him, but everyone else was. She didn't care though. He was her best friend and nothing would separate them.
Nothing would ever make him leave her, least of all her mother locking her up in a mental institution for years! Mae Lynn loved Ash. She loved her ghost. He was her best friend and her only love. She had no one, he was the only one. She was his only one as well. For the years he stayed by her side, she vowed she would help him find out what happened to his family. She vowed she would give him closure. She just didn't realize someone most definetly did not want that to happen.
