Five matters of my heart

Enough has been said
About immortal things
For they are timeless
And they have no end

I now speak for a particular organ
Where emotions and suffer gather in
A muscle that needs to be molded and trained
To tolerate life and it's never ending pain

An eight ounces
That keeps working no matter
How much it carries
Of heavy emotional weight. . .
