The sound of a horn filled the plain of Cathrail. A million elf ears perked up and readied their bows. In the front of the army, astride a horse, the General scanned his surroundings. Fog covered up half the valley but pinpoints were still visible. Then out of the gloom outlines of monsters took place. The barracks of Elves stirred uneasily. The riding party went out to meet their foe. The General, who was obviously not part of the riding party, waited uneasily. "Ahhhhh!!" A scream filled the plain. Then another, until 4 screams filled the valley. Then the monsters roared. The horses of the riding party returned with only the heads of the riding party on the horses. The Elves gasped and stared. Then the monsters charged.

"Upstairs!" I hear a yell and pounding footsteps. I crawl out of the window until I'm hanging from my hands. I take a breath. I let go. ~ Living in a small town with a single mother, Mia Glenn never expected anything special to come of her life. She never thought she would go on an adventure as harrowing as the stories she read. Until one day she narrowly avoids being kidnapped, discovering in the same day a whole new universe that she is supposedly a part of. As she navigates the elven world of Earthe with the help of a particularly attractive elf boy, she learns secrets about her identity and her father's, of whom she believed had ditched her and her mom at an early age. Soon Mia discovers that peace isn't as easy as it seems, and while Earthe may be beautiful, there are dark parts that are creeping back to the light. Even in a world of perfect beings such as elves, lies can be spun as precisely as an arrow can pierce a target, and evil can sneak up on you when you least expect it. Mia is used to reading about this kind of stuff, not living it. Safe to say she finds herself in one hell of an adventure. - - TW: if you need a tw for fighting, violence, weapons, blood, death, etc. I would read with caution (I don't get into any gory details, but there are scenes w/ this) I will put tw's for the more violent scenes.Concluida

"Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?Concluida

She had been scrambling towards a sudden drop! The hands hauled her back, but she still struggled. She didn't want to look at it, and she still wasn't sure she wouldn't rather take her chances with the open air instead. "Stop it, I'm not going to hurt you! You'll hit your head on the rock or something. Wren, please!" It knew her name. Somehow it knew her. She was going to die! "Let me go! Stop touching me!" She was sitting on the rocky floor now with her back against an uneven wall, and it was trying to pin her down and hold her still. She kept her eyes turned away and struggled helplessly, but it was no use. It was strong like a human man too, and she couldn't keep it off of her. The wings had moved until they curved around them both and shut out a lot of the light. Its face was so near hers that she could feel its breath brushing against her skin. "Please just look at me for a second. Just look. I'm not going to hurt you." One of the hands grabbed her chin and forced her head to turn, and then she was looking straight into a pair of dark brown eyes. It had a human face too. She had been expecting something monstrous or ghastly, and the surprise made her falter for a moment. He looked young, with a bad haircut and an earnest expression on his face. "I'll let go of you, okay? Just don't lunge around like that anymore, you'll get hurt." He whispered.Concluida

"Long ago, when the world believed dragons were only myth. The world was ruled by humans, in that world it was human kill everything. All that changed when the sky opened and out came creatures that would burn the world to ash. Millions of lives lost in a matter of one year, the human army tried to kill them but no missile could breach the armored skin on the dragons body. Soon the whole human race would be gone, but that didn't happen. Everything changed when a man appeared. He was just a man they all thought until they witnessed him controlling and even riding a dragon with scales as black as the night sky. Once he came, the killings and number of wild dragons dropped, he had tamed them all. He came to be called Kahlo in our language or to the humans, he was the Dragon King. With Kahlo riding a dragon, he showed only the loyal ones how to do the same. That is how the Riders were born." The man stopped talking as he looked at the two faces of his children. "I think it be for bed soon my children." "Oh come now father, please finish the story," a little boy with white hair begged. "Yes father please," a young girl with black hair begged as well. "Alright, but it be bed right after or your mother would have my head." They both giggled and waited for their father to continue the story. "Peace flowed over the world, he put in place, his own form of rule. Each country would be ruled by a single Rider and their clans. Each of the world had dragons and their riders ruling the country. That is how peace remained in this world but something came to destroy our peace." The children gasped making the father smile. "Now to bed you two go." "Ah but father." They both whined but he covered them with the blanket. "No buts, to bed. I'll see you both in the morning." He kissed their heads making them smile. "Goodnight father." Separation always lead to dire consequences.It was strategic,happened so quickly,a wave of witches,creatures,and illusion.I fought through,managed to clear the illusion.Where was my husband?Gut wretching panic set in.I flew straight up,calling out,then screaming.Frantically scanned the field.I saw his elk.Dread filled my heart.Within a second I was there. Witches scattered all directions.I turned each I could to dust.They moved so fast,in such odd patterns,I only got a few.I covered the kings battered, bleeding body with mine as the witches kept attacking. They're attack on Thranduil had been brutal. "V!I need you!" At the kingdom: It was a long night.I managed to heal his wounds,as he thrashed and convulsed,no help from the healers.They were afraid to come near him. "Cowards!Get out!" Neither would the White council enter.This was Morgul dark magic,and he was considered cursed. Legolas,Tauriel, and our Orcian daughter was all I had.It was enough. The wounds slowly closed,his beauty,more entrancing than ever. Around dawn,his eyes fluttered open. "The light."he mumbled. Legolas quickly closed the shutters. My face fell to his chest,as I sobbed. "Little dove,no.All is well.Please, no."he crooned against my head, "Look.I am well." I raised my eyes,everyone gasped. His eyes glowed red. "Starving,in fact." "Starving?"I repeated cautiously, "-for what?" "Everything smells so wonderful.You smell wonderful."he said,sitting up. "Husband-"I began,then turned to the others,"Leave us." "No."legolas stated,"I won't let him harm you." "I understand Uncle *Sniff* I will be brave for the family and Mom." I took the cloak from his hands, and something clicked inside my head. A voice came through to my head, more a whisper than a normal voice. Uncle Waller stood up and walked away. I embraced the cloak, my tears falling on it, as I remembered my fathers scent. "I don't know what happened... But I promise you this Father, I will find the person who did this to you, and make it pay for taking you away from our family". I swore with anger burning in my heart. "I must grow strong, just like Father, Uncle and Grandpa... I will become The strongest Warrior there ever was, you will see Father..." I walked back inside the house. "Allen... You have promise..." Said the whisper, "I will help you grow strong, and get Revenge..." Said the voice with sadness, "You are a very special Kid".Concluida
"Elves of the Northern Vale" A Tundrawolf Story
As happened many times in the past the Fell Ice once again charged down from the north and attacked the world in its effort to turn it into a frozen ball of ice. Only the White Magic and it's ally the Sun could stand against such a vast enemy. From their home in the Valley of the Sun the great tribe of Elves could only watch as the monumental fight unfolded. As the battle intensified and the valley became threatened the tribe separated back into their four original tribes and each made their way back to their ancestral homes. Within their Vales, behind thick stone walls and under powerful domes of magic, they were protected from the onslaught upon the earth. The Elves watched for thousands upon thousands of turns as the war raged overhead. The Fell Ice against the Sun and the White Magic were locked in a struggle lasting for an age, with neither side claiming victory as the earth was ravaged. In time the Fell Ice retreated, as it had so many times in the past. Beaten, yet not defeated, only biding it's time for the next attack. It returned to its frozen Kingdom at the Top of the World, thus ending this last Age of Ice. This time, as the earth warmed around them, the Elves remained secluded from the world in their hidden Vales. They observed from afar life returning to the lands and took stock of man becoming the dominant ones as their numbers grew and spread. As the Elves watched they felt safe and secure in their Vale strongholds. They had no idea of the danger that was about to befall them.
