Doubts - Regretful ex-Fiancé
Jonathan and Isabella will have a HEA. "You know," he replies, starting to move back and forth in front of me. "I used to ignore the fact that you don't have a name or a very nice background. That you did not attend a great university or whatever. It wasn't crucial to me. But now I recognize you for who you truly are." He comes to a halt and looks at me with contempt. "White trash. Aren't you one? Isn't that how they refer to folks like you?"Jonathan....! Jonathan?! I shake my head at him, completely stunned and shocked by his statements. What? Do you think this...? Do you think this, too? "I should've known better. I thought about it a few times. Thank God, it happened now. It was a lucky escape, right?" She was seen cheating on him. All the evidence was against her. Two of his closest friends were certain of her identity because they saw her in the act. She tried explaining. The story seemed too crazy to be true. He asked for proof. She had none. He breaks up the engagement and asks her to leave the house they were living together. She cries, begs for some time till she can show him she is telling the truth. He ignores. She leaves. It seems it's over. Tags: engagement, grovel, HEA, happy ending, besotted, forgiveness, sorrow, sadness No cheating. No other women or men. Celibate. Besotted hero. Change of Heart - Regretful Husband
I entered his office, fully aware that he would be angry. As I stepped inside, he shot me a dark look, clearly annoyed by my presence. He didn't throw me out right away, but stayed seated, a stack of papers in front of him. "Anthony, please. I've tried to reach out to you. If you could just hear me out. I regret everything, truly. You have no idea how sorry I am for my actions. I can change; just give me a chance to prove I'm not the bad person you think I am. Please," my voice sounded weak, but that's how I felt. Anthony remained still, not reacting at all, as if he hadn't heard me. "Leave," he ordered. "Please, just listen," I pleaded. "If you don't leave, someone will make you." He could be harsh and unkind. No matter how many times I sought his forgiveness, he wouldn't budge. Once, I even knelt down, a moment I wish I could forget. He walked away, leaving me there. That was when I realized how cruel he could be. He never physically harmed me, but I don't think he needed to. After the wedding and what he found out, he never touched me again.

Unwritten Bond
Her hand trembles when she is about to sign the marriage papers. The very mention of the word marriage reminds her of her past, her first marriage. She had not even peacefully come out of her previous toxic marriage and she is pushing herself into the same hell again. But then fighting with her thoughts, she takes a deep breath and signs the marriage papers and a tear comes out of her eyes as she is not ready to face again all that she faced in her previous marriage. ◇◇◇◇◇◇◇ " Never forget, the day you break even a single rule of this marriage, I will divorce you and after that you know the consequences." He says after signing their marriage papers And his heart feels heavy as he says these insensitive words to her because after getting her he cannot even think of divorcing her, Divorcing her, isn't even the last thing he would do but still he has no other option except putting this condition before her. And there after hearing his words she looks at him with her blank eyes. Book start : 25.01.2025

Tanner and Esme
Esme Things can become clear in a second. When I found Tanner in his office with that woman, so many things became obvious. Tanner's always held himself back from me, but now, secrets and lies come tumbling out into the light. He's never loved me and he never will. I'm no longer willing to be a placeholder in his life, and I have to end our marriage. Tanner I'd been married for four years to someone I didn't believe I loved because I thought I still loved another woman. A woman I had to give up when I chose to marry my wife after I got her pregnant. Now, the other woman's back, she's divorced and is telling me it's our time to be together. Just as soon as I divorce my wife, who's pregnant with our second child. The allure of the past was impossible to resist, so I gave in, met her at my office and my wife found us just...after. So many things became clear to me even before I looked into my wife's devastated eyes. What had I done? I knew what I'd done, and now I had to prove to my wife that she's the one I want.Complete
