Tiene Firefury a spirited, adventurous young blood elf in Quel'thalas has aspirations to emulate her brothers Inaris, a warlock and Duthan, a Lieutenant Ranger with the Farstriders.  Following a chance discovery which reveals her father and late mother were elite members with the guild, Crimson Blade,  she chooses the way of the Rogue, the assassin.
  
In her early years of training, her heart is captured by a fellow student in the Students of Shadow, but as the years progress and she becomes a member of the Crimson Blade, Tiene evolves through a world where the underlying currents of the Burning Legion,  lies, lust, betrayal, and debilitating heartbreak, take away almost everything dear to her. 
  
From the ashes of war,  tormented and driven by deep sorrow, fuelled with hatred for The Burning Legion, she seeks out the one known as the Betrayer, Illidan Stormrage.  In him, she hopes to find the ultimate leader who will help her mete out justice and sate her hunger for vengeance.
