Nick a 15 year old struggling to come to terms with his sexuailty in a homophobic family where they had been taught that being gay is an "abomination" and anyone who is will be punished. All he can think about is if his parents will love him. If he will have to make an escape plan if anything goes wrong and why does god hate me. All he hoped for is to not actually be gay but he realizes that he is.
