Something drastic in Nick Harper's life caused his mother to send him away to live with his farming side of the family, who live in a very small town by the name of Ravenswood. Everything was already bad, but when Nick discovers the whole town is being used as a type of headquarters by the town's version of the Mafia, there is only one thing to do, "borrow" a radioactive robe from the town's historical museum, and use mixed martial arts to show who now protects this small town, becoming something else: the Black Knight.

But she's not the only one, there are nine others supposed to be besides her; two of which never made it past their mother's womb and one who's incompatible. What makes them special, is also what makes them dangerous. Ripped from their normal, day-to-day,school life, family and friends with no warning, they find out who they are. And why they're alive. But fitting back into that normal life they missed so much is proving to be hard. Especially for Maya, who has a tendency to get herself in trouble and extraordinary situations ENTIRELY her fault. (She'd rather die than admit that of course) Old life brings the problem of boys, unwanted advances, homework, teachers and of course, a boyfriend with she had a rather uncharacteristic meet-up. Scott, Sed, Andy are her childhood friends all the way with her in this. Almost all the way. They didn't expect her to change or to come back at all and they are having a HARD time adjusting to the new Maya. She's dangerous, she's hot and she knows it. She has done a lot in the past two years that will catch up to her and stuff after that which refuses to stay hidden. Like Matilda, he too struggles with his power, not in finding it, but rather in controlling it. Will he get it right when it matters? Oliver Hart is a charismatic veterinarian who discovers he can suddenly hear the animals thoughts. It would've been a powerful career booster if he hadn't been kidnapped and taken to the community. There, he uses his charisma to make a group of friends he'll never forget. The four must fight tooth and nail to make it out of dangerous situations and discover their own feelings along the way.Concluida
