Barry has faced the facts. After his encounter with Supergirl on Earth 39, he is unable to return home to his own world causing him to build his own life here with Kara. No more than 19 years later Barry has fallen in love with and married Kara. Together they raise their teenage daughter Skylar who has inherited her parent's speed. On Skylar's 16th birthday she finds herself running into a mysterious portal that leads to her father's home world. Skylar must now find her way back to her family, or will her family find their way back to her? Meeting the people who she has heard so much about inspires her to pick up where her father left off.
