After the death of her brother soon to be queen lia has to make an alliance with a house that is an enemy. But everything isn't as it seems and soon politics and rivalries will have their result. Fighting for a throne that might not be worth it at the end. After having no choice but to marry the enemy she plots against him. But maybe he isn't in the wrong here? Her mother the queen will do anything for the throne. Even if it is to betray her own daughter.
  
There will be another povs and story lines of princess lia's best friend and her younger sister.
