Seán "Jack" McLoughlin thought that he would always be "that kid from Ireland."  He didn't ask to be torn away from his home, his family, and everything he ever loved only to get mutated into a monster.

Mark Fischbach was always a special child.  His parents had been so proud to discover that he had been born with powers, unlike so many other children.
