Joseph Havenwood finds himself in a pickle when he gets kidnapped from his house despite the presence of the police. Hurt and confused. He finds out that he is the last descendant of the Supreme Sorcerer line which have existed for thousands of decades when the British Magic Branch rescued him. The last Sorcerer's Staff in existence which holds unimaginable power is being guarded and hidden by Alex Havenwood, Joseph's father whom turned down the offer of being the next Supreme Sorcerer when his father sacrificed his life in battle.

An organisation of mainly magicians who call themselves 'Black Rose' aims to retrieve the hidden Staff and use it for world domination. It is up to Joseph to hunt down his grandfather's Staff before it gets into the wrong hands.

The Gathering Dark

6 parts Complete

(Fantasy Adventure) The Kobold are coming. As the tide of Gathering Dark threatens not only the elves, but the dwarves, and shattered remnants of the human populace, only a few stand in their way: only they can restore the lost City of Ai. And then there's the dragon... Sorcery, ancient magic, sword play, and high fantasy take the stage in an epic tale of good vs evil. Can a tetchy dwarven monk, a couple of sarcastic elves, and a dragon with a penchant for venison restore the Lost City of Ai and the legendary Eyes of Glan. Or will the ever flowing tide of Kobold finally take the Realm? The Gathering Dark, a sword and sorcery fantasy by Gavin Wilson
