"Hello Sophie, wanna play?"
That was it. The first ever message I got from him, or her. It all started on the 1st of October. When I asked who it was, they just said that they were going to make my life horrible and that on the day of Halloween it would all stop. I thought that it was just a joke at first but two weeks later it's still happening. My best friend Taylor is the only one who I've told. I get messages every morning, sometimes more. I'm gonna find out who's sending them, but what's going to happen on Halloween? I have a month to find out...

"Are you old enough to be here?" The 18-year-old asked, and Hailey laughed. "Yeah. Of course, look can we just have two light beers?" Hailey asked looking at the desserts. "Well, I'm supposed to id, but I don't get paid enough for this." He rolls his eyes sliding the beers over. "Enjoy!" He groans cleaning off the counter and assisting the next customer. We walk over to a small booth and sit down. Hailey slides the beers over to me and I open one. I start to lift it and then set it back on the table. "Um... Hailey are we old enough for this?" she nods so I take a sip. It was disgusting but I felt like I should drink more so I drank the rest. Hailey had already gone to order more, and I stumbled towards her. A man grabbed me dragging me towards the back door and Hailey ran over trying to grab me. She screamed trying to get people to help but they were all distracted. The man stuck something in my arm and threw me in a van. He shut the door and Hailey ran inside to call the police. The dates match. Everything added up. How could I not realize it? The bodies. The charges. The gossip. The rumours. The accuracy. The deaths. Every single body went missing. They were right, I should have listened. I knew something was weird, but not this bad. Church on Sundays, book club on Mondays, Bible study on Wednesdays, their kids' games on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Charity donations on Fridays, and dates on Saturdays. I guess its true what they say. The biggest monsters don't hide in the darkness of your closet. Instead, they smile in your face in broad daylight. The worst demons don't conceal themselves in your shadow. They thrive in the light. The darkest souls own the brightest smiles. A light so captive, you don't even realize they've gotten so close. Don't even realize when you've befriended them and their darkness has touched you. So, Sometimes, to find the ugliest monster, you have to look in the mirror. P.S, the tags should serve as a warning as well. This story is my own, which means I own the characters, plot, etc. However, I did get some inspiration from James Patterson's WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB, just with a slight twist ;)

Ricky is a murderer, who stalks young women, learns about them, then becomes obsessed with them. If they refuse, or fake their love towards him, he brutally kills them. Then, after he sees Sophie coming out of the movie theaters one night, he instantly becomes obsessed. He begins stalking her, watching her through her window, following her at night, and learns more and more about her everyday. He feels the need to control Sophie, to make her his. The last thing Sophie wanted was a stalker. He plans on kidnapping her, taking her away where he will have her all to himself. Will Sophie realize she is being followed everywhere she goes, and someone knows everything about her? Or will it be too late? **Being updated! Grammar and some scenes are being rewritten! In fear of her life she tries to make a run for it but is stopped by the producer and held against her will. One night she fights hard enough to get away but just when she thought she was safe... she learned she was wrong. (This is the first story I've shared over any type of platform. His Possession. Mafia Romance. Dark Romance. Enemies To Lovers. "Let me go!" I seethed through gritted teeth. I felt an uncontrollable amount of fear rake over my body. I soon began to shake. The fear that I just barely managed to suppress earlier is now clawing its way back up to the surface, rearing its ugly head once again, and hits ten times harder than before. The sensation is literally paralyzing. The feeling totally bypassing 'fight' or 'flee' and going straight to freeze. I feel like yacking up all that greasy food I had eaten during my shift at the diner. But I swallow the urge to do so and grit my teeth. Trust me, I wanted nothing more than to yack all over this pretentious douche. "Sorry kitten, not ever going to fucking happen." He said carelessly as he tightened his grip on the steering wheel. His eyes were fixed on the dark road ahead of us, the road I surely didn't want to die on. Before I could even finish forming a coherent thought, the car swerved hard to the side of the road and comes to a sudden stop, sending me flying into the dash. My forehead collides with the smooth leather of the dashboard. I hear him rustling around, but can't see much due to the black spots in my vision. You know, from literally eating the dash. I hear the sound of something popping open and then liquid being poured. "Tell me kitten," I hear him say slyly. "Does this smell like chloroform?" He chuckles as he reaches across the console to press a rag to my face. Emily Watts, twenty years old and living alone in LA, due to her parents being drunken assholes.
