Jelissa Parker has been living a homeless life since the day she was left standing at the altar alone. She has wandered from town to town, broken hearted and with no set destination in mind ever since.
One night after being chased by a few men, she took shelter in a random car to hide from her pursuers. However they found her, and they tried to pry her out by making a ruckus, but that only led to their death by the owner of the car.
Jelissa being thankful to the stranger for saving her life, literally begged him to give her a chance to pay him back, and although he refused, she persisted so until he agreed.
But little did she know, she just voluntarily gave herself up to the devil.
Dario Edoardo Paranillo is known as one of the most ruthless assassins of the mafia world. He is heartless, doesn't care for anybody else but himself, and although he's known as a heartbreaker, girls come running at his every Beck and call.
He is not one to help anyone, he kills for a living, without giving it a second thought.
So when a naïve and innocent Jelissa crashes into his life, he can't help but seem possessive towards her.
He tries to avoid his attraction towards her at any cost, but her naivety causes Jelissa to be more than a vixen for Dario.
