The rural town of Laglimage is just an average, British town. But when a boy is brutally murdered, many people are horrified, and disturbed. The police were baffled by their findings. The windows were all closed, the door was locked, and there was no damage done to the outside of the house. This meant that someone inside the house had committed the crime. Or someone outside the house had a key. Officer Shandlebury went to ask Mrs Falconclaw about it. "Could you tell me who, of your- your acquaintance list had a key at the time of the- err, occurrence?" He said, cautiously. He could see her struggling to hold back tears, and admired her bravery. "Well, I had one, and A- a... My, son, had one." By the way that she was talking, Officer Shandlebury knew she wasn't talking about her younger son. "What about Mr Falconclaw?" "He- he lost his key yesterday. We were planning to go to the police station to enquire if anyone had- had found them, and handed them in..." She trailed off, and, not able to hold it in any longer, screamed. The officer recognised the emotions that were pouring out of her. The sadness, anger and frustration. The curiosity, the need for revenge. Who committed the crime? Have they any mercy? Will there be more victims? And the biggest question of all; will they be brought to justice?
