Paislee Shea Quinn was on the run. Once the FBI had tried to get her in Witness Protection and her life was supposed to start all over again, a fresh start, a new her, but it didn't happen that way. The Italian Mafia boss that she agreed to testify against had given her a sure sign of what would happen if she did and just to make sure she doesn't, he kidnaps her and then the unthinkable happens, she falls in love with him and after a battle with a local faction fails but takes his life, she takes cash and a passport and flees from Texas to Sicily, Italy where her life would take such a turn, she would wish for death. Paislee would fall hard for both brothers but Luciano was not as accepting of her love as his brother, Lorenzo was and then there's his constant bullying and belittling her, throwing other women in her face all the time, would push her into a dark place from which she might never return, until a single situation changes everything, making Luciano change his mind and now he has to work hard for her trust and her love.
