"Who are you?" the supervillain asks. His breathless voice is surprisingly soft. I slam my hands on either side of him, leaning in so close my nose touches his mask. I'm the taller one. It is definitely cringey because I'm bad at dialogue, and the running gag of the story is that I will use every conceivable romantic trope. Honestly just please don't give up on it too quickly, I promise it gets better. It is gay. Also, if you showed up from Pinterest I love you.
