Team Galactic is anything but good, a lesson that Shina had to learn the hard way. After a run-in with some members, her beloved Pokemon were stolen from her. Shina gave up on being a Pokemon Trainer after that incident, and instead dedicated herself to taking down Team Galactic -- with or without Pokemon. But things are easier said than done, especially when she befriends a Froslass that everyone seems to think is bad luck.

There was a connection they couldn't understand, and Flame was determined to keep her away from harm, but at a distance. Secrets will be revealed and memories will be remembered. There are important key elements to discovering a new meaning to what happened to them in their childhood. This involves having to get involved with an evil organization that wants to destroy the world. Happiness will have to wait, since there is willpower that needs to be awaken. When learning that Nate never talked to Rosa before, his friends go far and beyond to help their friendship bloom again. But things aren't taken lightly and everyone soon discovered that there was trauma in their past. Right after she gained her eighth Gym badge in Unova, she had an urge to visit her home region of Kanto and her friends who live there. After visiting with her family and friends in Pallet Town, she headed to Cerulean Cape to visit Bill, who started up Crystal's PC Pokémon storage system. Bill was in the middle of an experiment and Crystal offers to help, which brings her the ability of a Ditto: the ability to change into any Pokémon. That is, with practice.
