Dan Howell blames himself for the tragic death of his parents. Living in foster care, he transfers to a new school in the middle of the term. Phil Lester, a friendly outcasted classmate at Dan's new school, takes interest in him and learns that he's not the only one with demons. Dan pushes everyone away from him and lives on a path towards self-destruction while Phil is an awkward social butterfly with an attitude for happiness and fun.
Rules are broken, sexualities questioned, and love blossoms in this high school phan AU.
