Hikaru Kaneko was born into a legacy. Her father was one of the Generation of Miracles when he was young but after and accident caused him to lose one of his legs, he became unable to play competitively. Hikaru was born with the ability to play basketball, just as well as her father. She wants more than anything to make her father proud of her; so she decided that she would follow in his footsteps and become one of the greatest players in Japan. The only problem is, will a team accept a girl player? Taking a great risk, Seirin's basketball coach accepted Hikaru with open arms after realizing that her potential was far greater than she'd ever expected. Hikaru is thrown into the world of basketball and along the way she will meet some of the current Generation of Miracles. Ryota Kise and Tetsuya Kuroko are two of the great legends that take a interest in Hikaru; a copy cat and a shadow.
