It not doubt broke him. And now Spider-Man is benched, considering he is underage and now at a orphanage. 

Steve and Tony had been looking for a child to share their life with for a long while now. They both wanted someone... similar to themselves.

Everything was going great but all good things must come to an end. Will Peter make it out of his depressed state or will he be forever lost in his depression.
